Document Management: Content and Layout

This session is designed to support your written assignments for your program. The lesson will cover styles, images, and tables in Microsoft Word with the intent of giving you an opportunity to practice existing skills and learn some new skills with the view of improving your assignments and document formatting in the future.

Completed in Semester 2 (start of Phase 2), in line with course presentation requirements.

Using and Creating Images

Images play a very important part in your document but come in all different sizes and formats. This session provides support in creating and managing a wide range of images within your document.

Advanced Images & Document Management

Completed in Semester 1, to support essays and reports. It is also essential preparation for the dissertation in Semester 2.

Project Write-Up Session - Research Guidance (CMB3000, CMB3002 & CMB3004)

This course is run jointly between Faculty of Medical Sciences and the Walton Library. It covers all IT and Library skills required to complete Stage 3 Biomedical Sciences dissertations and is essential for all students completing this degree.
