In-Person Workshops

We run a variety of in-person sessions throughout the academic year, tailored for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

  • Undergraduates – Keep an eye on your timetable! You might find our sessions integrated into your course delivery.

  • Postgraduates – We frequently collaborate with graduate schools and faculty researcher development programmes across various disciplines. If you’d like to attend a workshop outside of these scheduled events, check out our offerings on workshops.ncl.ac.uk.

  • Are you a member of staff? Whether you’re interested in incorporating our sessions into your teaching or exploring resource development, we’d love to hear from you! Reach out to elliot.cruikshanks@ncl.ac.uk or contact us at nmedit@ncl.ac.uk to get started.

ABOUT US

The Digital Skills
Demonstrators Team

Our workshops are supported by a team of postgraduate student demonstrators from across the university, led by the Technology Enhanced Learning Team's Digital Skills Officer. Together, we deliver teaching and support in a self-led, welcoming setting. This provision also offers valuable paid teaching opportunities for postgraduate students, allowing them to gain hands-on experience in an educational setting.

In our workshops, you’ll be invited to engage directly with provided materials, including examples and resources, allowing you to explore topics at your own pace. Our Digital Skills Officer and demonstrators remain available throughout the session and after, ready to answer your questions, provide guidance, and offer practical support to help you make the most of your learning experience.
